Assignment 3: Turning 2d into 3d DUE: Tuesday Feb 3





•Assignment: Take a famous successful 2D painting and interpret into a 3D image using found objects around you.

•Think how the artist utilizes elements and principles in their work and translate that into your sculpture
•Size – Open
•Sculpture – In the round!

•Critique: Tuesday, February 3

At Critique:
-show photograph of painting you have used
-explain what elements and principles were the most significant in translating your piece from the original 2D piece
